I'm Jena — a Korean writer and content creator based in Pohang, South Korea.

I grew up here, and for years I've worked writing Korean drama scripts and

telling stories about everyday Korean life for audiences both in Korea and abroad.


This blog started from a simple frustration: most content about Korea online

is either a tourist brochure or a K-pop headline. Neither one shows what it's

actually like to live here — the food my grandmother made, the quiet towns

tourists skip, the small customs no travel guide explains, and the shows and

music that are actually resonating with Koreans right now, not just what

goes viral abroad.


So that's what I write about: real Korean culture, food, travel spots I've

actually been to, and honest takes on the K-dramas and music everyone's

talking about — from someone who was born and raised here, not someone

who just visited.
